Last Layer with only a little over 2 years has seen true recognition by making its way fitting a complete London showroom.
Living in Design chose to fit their showroom with the brand because of its unique and exquisite finishes, and manufacturing flexibility.
The project involved 5 metre display in a high gloss lacquered Applewood veneer with horizontal book matched woodgrain in a handleless slab design.
The centre island feature 2000 x 1200 toughened lacquered white metallic glass was chosen with total handle-less 1800 wide pan drawers to one side and drawers with cut out handles in the glass on the other side finished on both ends with 50mm boxed end panels and a round table support all in the same matching glass.
For the third display a TV Media unit in high gloss white lacquer with 50mm floating shelves and worktop.
The last display a fully working concealed kitchen work area with bi-fold sliding pocket doors finished to the floor in two finishes and designs. The concealed area using a “J” style handle-less design in a satin lacquer along with the outer units with a stainless steel recessed handle finished in a different coloured satin lacquer finish.
The project was as challenging as rewarding to manufacture and it was an honour to work with such experienced individuals as Hassan Rezvani and Paul Goodwin for their prestigious showroom at Living in Design.
