NORMAL
Normal glass has several thicknesses. Usually 4mm is used for cabinet doors.
Its resistance to impact is lower than that of tempered or toughened glass. When it is damaged it breaks into big shards and may cause severe injuries. Please refer to your country`s safety standards-
It has a very subtle tint of green which may change the colour of the lacquer. For more demanding projects “low iron” glass should be used.

TOUGHENED
Toughened glass has higher resistance to impact it is also considered safety glass because when damaged it breaks into small pieces wich are not as harmful as shattered normal glass. -
LOW IRON
For more demanding projects low iron glass is advised. It is a very clear type of glass. it does not change the colour lacquer. This is a desirable when designing or developing a line of kitchens which have lacquered glass and lacquered MDF.
